Deepika advises clients on carbon capture and sequestration, carbon markets, and policy. She also works towards continually evolving our environmental justice and climate justice values and incorporating them into our work.
Background & Bio
Before joining Carbon Direct, Deepika spent six years at the Clean Air Task Force leading the Carbon Capture and Sequestration program advocating for critical policies such as enhanced 45Q, expansion of CarbonSAFE, incentives for CO2 pipelines and industrial CCS hubs at the US Federal level. In California, she participated regularly in rule-making processes to improve the California Air Resources Board’s CCS protocol. Prior to that at Schneider Electric, Deepika led global marketing operations for several Asia Pacific countries.
Deepika often speaks on CCS webinars and panels. She served as an advisor on Stanford University and Energy Futures Initiative’s report on CCS in California.
