Background & Bio

Mr. Goldstein has a background in energy and infrastructure investing. Prior to Carbon Direct, Mr. Goldstein was the Head of Investments at Aspiration Partners, a climate-focused asset manager. Prior to Aspiration, Mr. Goldstein was a Vice President in the Renewable Power Group of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Before his career as an investor, Mr. Goldstein practiced law as a project development and finance attorney at Sidley Austin, Baker Botts and Latham & Watkins. He also serves on the Board of the Greater New York Hearing and Speech Society. Mr. Goldstein holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA from the School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.
